Henri Aebischer brings marketing expertise to Sales Force Europe

Henri Aebischer, formerly Director of European R&D and of Worldwide Marketing for Apple Computer’s networking products has been appointed Business Development Director, Europe, of Sales Force Europe (SFE). He will contribute his extensive experience and important contacts to promote SFE’s outsourced sales services to high-tech companies.

“The SFE (sales outsourcing) team provides a proven, cost effective way for technology companies to break into lucrative new markets.” said Henri Aebischer. “It will be a pleasure working with them to build the success of their current clients and bring the service to new ones.”

“Henri brings us a wealth of market knowledge based on many years working with start-up and established companies in the industry,” added Rick Pizzoli, Managing Director of Sales Force Europe.

Now based in London, Henri Aebischer has worked at a senior level in sales, marketing and R&D for companies such as Apple, Data General and Honeywell Bull on both sides of the Atlantic.

About Henri Aebischer

With over 30 years experience in high-tech, Henri focuses on industry sectors including semiconductor, telecommunications and IT systems, application software, and system integration.

Until 1996, he spent 15 years at Apple where he held several management positions in Europe and in California. In the early 1980s he participated in the creation of Apple Europe and launched the Lisa and the Macintosh in all European markets. Then he moved to California and became worldwide director of marketing for Apple’s networking products. In 1990 he came back to Europe as general manager of the European R&D Centre, focusing on European telecom products.

Prior to Apple, he was European marketing manager for minicomputers at Honeywell Bull, then at Data General. Henri was born in Switzerland and owns a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich.
